Taboo: The Priest's Confession and more

It's the end of the year already. How time has flown. I can't believe it! Each year seems to fly by. So HAPPY NEW YEAR. I wish that you receive all that you want in the New Year.

Most New Year Resolutions finish within a couple of weeks but if I could suggest something that we all should follow it is to REACH FOR THE SKIES. Yes! You can achieve anything you want if you really apply yourself. You cannot re-run your life so make the most of every day and do everything that you want now. I promise you that if you don't then one day you will look back and wish you had.

The DreamCatcher was supposedly used by some Indian tribes to stop bad dreams and let good dreams glide through. Make your own dreams come true. The DreamCatcher is thought to energise and are hung by slepping chiuldren to stop nightmares. This year I'm writing some Horror Stories: watch out and keep your personal DreamCatcher handy!!

I'm Father Patrick O'Neil. Father Pat is what the local folks call me. I've been around, working inner cities, rural areas, Ireland, England, and some missionary work in China. All when I was training and just ordained. Now, I'm in a medium town and settled in for the last few years. 

The rectory is homely, and I've got a housekeeper. Moira is from the old country and in her late 50s, I should think. She is married and has been housekeeper here for many years. She keeps the place clean and tidy, cooks for me, and does my shopping, washing, and ironing. She is a great cook and always prepares meals for her days off so all I have to do is warm them up, usually in the microwave. Bit of a luxury these days. 

I'm 32 years old and have never been kissed! Not true. I'd had girlfriends when I was a teen and at college and had explored and enjoyed them and the experiences. But since being ordained, I had concentrated my thoughts away from such temptations; well, almost. I've been dragged off the straight and narrow a few times. Priests seem to attract many women. Maybe it's that priests should be celibate and so a challenge for some women

 I also keep pretty fit and have always done some boxing. The boxing priest has always been an attraction, although without my dog collar and in shorts, I'm just another bloke. Maybe my muscular frame is a bit of an attraction, too.

Anyway, to cut to the chase I have had sex with a couple of women and managed to keep it under the wire. One was a single mum with three kids who was having a bad time, husband walked out, cleaning jobs and suchlike to make a few pennies, but generally struggling. I was 24 year and still learning. Learning about people.  She came to bible study when she could and one day wanted to talk to me so I arranged for her to come around to the rectory early one afternoon so we’d finish in time for her to be home for the kids. Well! She broke down weeping and I did comfort her. She was tired out with the early mornings and stress. She had been left with huge debts by her husband and was getting threatening letters and now phone calls almost daily.  I arranged for some help, we alled a government debt helpline and got the money sided sorted out. With her husband gone the people chasing her were obliged to stop and find him. No debts were in their joint names.  Then I got her an assistant job in the local school which was better than getting up at 4.30 every morning to go cleaning. Being a priest gives me a bit of a sway with local organisations and getting Louise the job was one of the benefits.

It was two weeks later when there was a knock at the front door. I wasn’t expecting anyone. I’d always kept Tuesday evenings free to relax and do my own thing. Sometimes I went to see a movie. That night I was watching some TV, a documentary on Catch-up. I opened the door and Louise was standing there in the light of the open door. She was smiling.Now buy and read on . . . click here

Another day. Another dollar. Another story. Here is one of my five new erotic stories evoking taboo thoughts and deeds.

  I guess I was lucky. I’m a writer, not very successful. But my luck came from the Lotto win of nearly three quarters of a million. I’m in my late forties and on my own. I was planning on making a home in Spain but keeping a small property here too, as a fallback. I hadn’t told anyone about my win and I hadn’t gone wild. I’d bought a cheap small car and a bigger investment. Just over ten thousand on a second-hand cabin cruiser.

It was nearing time to go to Spain on an exploration trip when I hoped to find a property. Nothing expensive. I needed a marina for my boat, a place that was lively but not a drunken wild destination. I would write there and maybe would strike lucky with that. I wanted a place overlooking the beach and sea, and within walking distance of shops and cafes.

But that was the future. Right now I was down on the coast back home where I had a mooring in a marina. I was here a lot

I was getting to know the local shops and café’s now after a few weeks. I’d started taking my dirty washing home when I went but was soon using the local laundry wash, I’d found a couple of really friendly cafés, and the local boat yard had become a wealth of information and store for supplies and equipment.

The Laundry Service was a self-service place, a row of washing machines opposite several commercial driers. It was simple. I wasn’t rushed for time so I would sit and wait. Gave me time to think about my day and what I would be doing. Kay ran it with her daughter. They would take dirty washing, put it through the process and even iron for a modest amount. Some days they were really busy and others sat and chatted. Usually there was just one of them there except on Mondays and Fridays which seemed the busiest

It was a Wednesday and Kay came and sat with me. She was slim, but not skinny, she must have been at least thirty eight as Penny, her daughter, was just turned nineteen. But she looked about 28 years old. Kay was blonde, probably out of a bottle, her hair cut short and in a bob. She was average height, certainly shorter than me. She was always cheerful and smiling. I’d noticed she always wore bright red lipstick and had matching nails. She often wore red heels too. Maybe that should have sent signals to my brain. She usually wore figure hugging trousers and a blouse; often open one button too much for modesty, showing her breasts which looked firm and round. Now read on . . .

Hit and Run No Escape

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! The stories I started writing in December are beginning to seep through onto Amazon, Audiobooks and Kindle. It is so rewarding to see sales in the first few days of publication.

Now for my new book Hit and Run  No Escape which I both wrote and narrated. I hope you like my narration as much as I enjoy reading. When it's my own book I feel see the characters and speak from their hearts and minds. 

Here are the opening words to get you thinking. Enjoy:

Jack felt the crunch as if it was him . . . but it wasn’t. He ran across the road to see what had happened as a white van speed off, a white van with one red rear door , like it was a replacement, but he didn’t get the number,  it had gone too fast. He saw a girl laying there, her body in a distressed position, legs askew, blood trickling down her face. She looked in a bad way.

   Jack fumbled in his pocket and found his mobile. Dialling 999 he looked around for help. But there was none, and the driver and his van had disappeared. It was 9 at night and heavy rain splashed into the gutter. Jack was on his way home after a busy day and could do without this.

   “Ambulance please” he spoke abruptly into the phone. “A girl, run over, looks bad, bleeding heavily. Just in Stephenson Lane. You can’t miss us. Please hurry she looks in a bad way.”

   “Yes. She is breathing and I’m trying to stop the bleeding but I don’t really know what to do. It’s pouring with rain and I’ve got nothing to cover her with except for my jacket and that’s not protecting her.” His words trailed off. The operator spoke to him an, assured him. Gave some simple instructions and words of encouragement.

   Jack kept talking to the girl but she was unconscious and he knew this could mean big problems. Then he heard the welcoming sound.

I live in the UK and so all the places, expressions and descriptions are in English and the audiobook is read with my British accent. So for some of you this might be a different experience.

   My name is Jim and I’m 47 years old. Divorced. No kids. Great Job. Money in the bank and in my back pocket. Don’t know if I’m good looking. I certainly look after myself and date plenty of girls: they seem to think I’m ok. I don’t think it’s just the money. Today I’m off the coast. Seen a nice little cruiser that I might buy. Always liked the sea and a small cabin cruiser that I could live on overnight and weekends would be great. Across to France too? I needed something big enough to take my motor-bike too.

   I’d come off the main road. I was having fun on this relatively quiet straight road away from urbanisation. Then this girl had just pushed her case out in the middle of the road and here we were.

   My thoughts turned to the girl. Good looker. Legs that seemed to go on forever. First thing I noticed as I got out of the car. Probably the last thing I saw as I braked. Slim shapely tanned legs.
